One day he is met by a talking horse, named Bree, who notices he looks Narnian and asks Shasta to run away with him to Narnia. While on their journey up they're met by Hwin, a female talking horse, and Aravis, a young Calorman girl. Together, the four of them journey to Narnia and the north to escape the evil country of Calorman. This journey, however, won't be easy and they'll find many troubles on the way.

Review

I think that The Horse and His Boy is probably the best book in the Chronicles of Narnia Series. I like how Shasta, Bree, Hwin, and Aravis are on a long journey, which keeps the reader interested throughout the book. Lewis does a great job at incorporating characters that are familiar and characters that are new to increase the excitement of the story. He builds on all these characters to make us understand them better. This book is also full of action and adventure and you grow to love all the main characters of the book and just are very excited to find out how this story ends. The only bad thing is that it has to end, and it keeps you wanting to read more and more into the series. Hands down this is the best book of the Narnian Series.
